Dutch John, Utah, United States--A giant fishing fly sculpture was built by
Jerry Carlson in the 1990s and was moved from a fishing shop in Logan to its
current location near the Flaming Gorge in 2017; the fly is a replica of a “Royal Wulff” and weighs three tons and is 36 feet long, setting the world record for being the
World's Largest Fishing Fly Sculpture, according to the WORLD RECORD ACADEMY.
"The Green River by Flaming Gorge Dam is a hot spot for fly fishing. We saw a ton of fisherman on our hike so it’s appropriate that the World’s Largest Fishing Fly has a home in this area," the PoppinUpUSA.com says.
